Why We Love Each Other
Her Entrance is a happy ray of sunshine into the room,
and yes!
I can live with or without her.
After all, I myself am a bundle of joy,
and I do not believe in sentimental love songs
like
“There’s no sunshine when she’s gone.”
Because, even during the times when she’s away from me,
the sky is still shining and the sun is still beautiful,
except, of course,
when it rains,
but even that is really cool,
because, after it rains,
I can see the rainbow.
And, dancing in the rain can be quite fun!
But it's just incredibly nice to be around her.

Part 2
In some places in the world,
there is a strong bit of individualism,
and Frank Sinatra's "I Did it My Way" is the back-up national anthem.
But There are some things you cannot do by yourself, to yourself, or for yourself. For example,
you cannot make yourself laugh by tickling yourself,
you cannot tell yourself a good joke,
you cannot give yourself a surprise birthday gift,
you cannot hug yourself,
you cannot kiss your own lips.
And so, dear lover, this is why we love each other - not because we make each other happy - after all, happiness lies within - it is a moment-by-moment choice or decision.
No, dear lover, we love each other because,
what we give to each other, we cannot give ourselves.

Love the message here. So many relationships are based on a neediness. That is why they fail. When we first learn the joy that comes from just being, we can then add to another's energy rather than depleting. I love love!
