Something of God: A Continuation of a Quote by C.S. Lewis

Posted on Dec 7th, 2006 by Kundan : The Golden One Kundan

"Something of God
Flows into us from the blue of the sky,
The taste of honey,
The delicious embrace of water
Whether hot or cold,
And even from sleep itself"

Something of God
Flows into me
From the sweet embrace of a real hug,
From acts of Love I witness,
From acts of Love I accomplish,
From seasons of Kindness I manifest

Something of God
Flows into me
From the interplay of Light and Dark on a bright yellow pretty sunflower,
From the sounds and sights of fountains, which, in my eyes, seem to be
Wonderful intersections of man and nature
Fountains are places where man and nature meet and create
A new type of wonderful beauty,
Coexisting so sweetly, so wondrously, so synchronistically

I know it's God whenever I am more loving, more helpful, more giving, more serving,
More in awe and wonder, all at the same time, as a result of what flows into me.
