Loving the World as It is

Posted on Dec 7th, 2006 by Kundan : The Golden One Kundan
When solving world problems,
There are Two Approaches:

One is to descend into the world,
analyze it,
and teach it to be how not to be what it is.

Another way would be to go out into the world,
and just love it,
love it as it is,
love it unconditionally.

After all, the appearance of such love is the real goal in the first place,
and it has to begin with you - if you don't do it, who will?

***********************************************************
What is Love?

Love is
whenever I realize that you are wonderful,
and that I am wonderful,
and from that place of equality,
serve you
and help you become
grander than you already are.

Likewise,
loving the world is to see it as already wonderful,
and then help it become grander than it already is.

But what does it really mean to love people as they are?
How do we apply this in daily life?

One way would be this:
I used to feel sad and even guilty around negative people -
whenever I asked them, "How are you?"
They would answer, "Just hanging in there."
And I used to judge them for this - is this how you depict the wonder of life,
the wonder and beauty of this world?
And I always answered the question like this: "Wonderful! Fabulous!Thank you!" For me, a bad day would simply be a less wonderful day.
As long as I am breathing, it's simply wonderful.

Nowadays, I ask people, "How are you?" less and less,
and simply see the Beauty that is inside them, affirm their Higher Consciousness privately in my mind, and greet them exuberantly,
"Hey Rob! High Five!" (Give them a high-five) and shout, "Woo-hoo!"
and leave their presence with high energy, while giving off some of my own high happy energy to them. Happiness is contagious. That's why I agree with Marianne Williamson when she said,
"It is not only our right but our responsibility to be happy."

It's all like Gandhi said, "Be the change you wish to see in the world."

Indeed, we must be the message we wish to send.
